About René

(1976 – 2010) Filmmaker – Musician – Writer. He was born in Mexico City in 1976. He graduated, as a director, from the Center for Cinematographic Training in Mexico, Bachelor of Communication from the University of Austin, Texas, Master in Dramatic Writing from the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.
Director and screenwriter, his short films have been shown at various festivals such as the Morelia International Film Festival, South by Southwest Austin, Texas, the Rotterdam International Film Festival, Beirut IESAV, the Carrefour Film Festival in Paris, and the New World Images International Festival in Quebec.
